Cision UK hosted a webinar, which focused on new media and how PR professionals are integrating it into their campaigns. We discussed the use of new media including blogs, podcasting, social networks, and message boards. After an overview describing these communication channels, we presented ways in which PR professionals have successfully (and sometimes unsuccessfully) integrated new media into their campaign plans.

AMEC (Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication) held a panel forum in London on how to measure the impact of new media. The panel consisted of new media experts Neville Hobson, Weber Shandwick Web Relations Director James Warren, Coca-Cola European Director of Communications Jon Chandler and Cision's Senior Consultant Paul Miller.
